Do you have a relationship with Microsoft?

    Our client was added to the bounce list recently. I sent him the IP list to whitelist. Below is his response:

    "All our email goes through office365 and we have whitelisted it, but if jotform is marked as spam by office365 we cannot control that. We are not even seeing the messages hit our instance of office365 so, if it is getting blocked it is happening before it gets to us."

    Can you provide insight?

    Are they still not getting emails from JotForm after white listing the emails? Try to ask them to whitelist JotForm's noreply address noreply@jotform.com or they can create a filter that would prevent flagging of emails from JotForm base on their filter rule.

    With regards to office365, we do not have any relation with this app or with Microsoft but I don't think we are blocked or blacklisted from their side. We used one of the most reliable email service around, Amazon SES. If we are marked as spam by some mail servers, we'd find it out when we get constant reports from users.

    Anyway, we understand that there are users who might be getting issues with our mail server. With that, you can always use your email server to send emails. That is possible by using SMTP as the sender email in your email notifications. Guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/244-How-to-Setup-SMTP-for-a-Form

    With the risk of being scolded by the Admin for daring to comment on this thread.........

    Recently bot my and my wife's email address have been shoved in the jotform bounce list and thus we do not get notifications. I keep going and removing them and they keep coming back onto the jotform list. This has only recently been happening, and never before these last two weeks.

    So as suggested by EltonCris I have indeed setup both our email addresses on the SMTP method and guess what, It doesn't work, Today I get shoved right back in the Jotform bounce list.

    Why am I still using Jotform, so many issues so much of the time. It started so well.

    @graham1370

    Thanks for your comments and for sharing your experience.

    I have moved your issue to a separate thread here https://www.jotform.com/answers/1032274 to avoid confusions. We'll be on your thread shortly.

    Just FYI, bounce issues normally happen when the receiving end rejects or flagged the emails coming from JotForm as spam. If this happens constantly on numerous attempt, we will add emails in the bounce list to protect our mail server from being blacklisted on spam databases. Just like you, we hate emails going into the bounce list. Unfortunately, just like any other email services, we do process bounced messages without any exceptions.

    Thanks for your understanding.
