Can your terms & conditions widget do a pop-up instead of a new browser window?

    Hi, the terms and conditions widget opens up the terms&conditions in a new windows. This works very badly on tablet devices, where our customers are not able to close the new window in any good way. The window needs to be a popup-window with a very visible Close window-button or X.  What should we do to get this?

    Thanks,

    Benjamin

    Hello Benjamin,

    Unfortunately it would not be possible to modify the widget to run a pop-up window. Instead, I would recommend to use a different widget such as short scrollable terms widget.

    If you have questions, please let us know.

    Thanks.

    Hi, thank you for the advice. However, I have a problem with the scrollable terms widget. The black terms&conditions text is not readable on the black background. Using css ( color: #FFFFFF; ) makes the label white, but does not affect the terms&conditions text. Is there a solution for this?

    Thanks,
    Benjamin

    Hello Benjamin,

    You can add this CSS code into your widget:

    .scrollable {
       color: #fff;
    }

    This is how it looks like when the code is inserted in the widget:

    Can your terms & conditions widget do a pop up instead of a new browser window? Image 1 Screenshot 30

    We can also change the background of the scrollable content of the widget if you wish such as using this CSS code:

    .scrollable {
    color: #000;
    background-color: #ccccff;
    }

    In which the widget on your form will look like this:

    If you need assistance or if you have questions, please let us know.

    Thanks.

    Hi, thank you for the help! I now got one more problem: No matter what I do to the form, the live form do not change. Just as there would be a cached copy somewhere, but it is not on my computer (I try different browsers and have cleared my cache).

    Benjamin
