Fields that are set to "Hidden" are being shown when the form is viewed from edit submission links

I have set up the auto-response email from my form that goes to the persons who fill out the form to enable them to edit their submissions.  I tested this on myself, received the auto-response email with my submission answers and clicked on the "Edit Submission" link.  So far, so good.  It took me back to my submission in the form, but is showing a field on the form that is supposed to be hidden.  The field was (correctly) hidden when I did the original submission, but shows up when I do an edit submission.  Is there a way to fix this apart from deleting the hidden field?

I have attached a screen shot of the field that should be hidden.  It is the red-colored text in the dotted oval.

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

I cloned your form to test it and I was able to reproduce the issue.  I was also able to reproduce the issue in my own test form.

Here is my test form with a header that is hidden:

    https://form.jotform.com/70105923148956

And here is the form from an edit submission link:

The header that is set to hidden is shown when viewed from the edit submission link.

I will forward this to our developers to have a look.  We will let you know as soon as this is fixed.

    Hey Justin,

It is actually not a bug. Since you are the owner of that form, you can also see the hidden fields.

Just give the link a try in a incognito window and you will see that when you are not logged in as the owner of that form, hidden fields will stay as hidden fields.

If there is anything else we can help you with, just give us a shout,

    Cheers.
