    Encrypted Forms: download encrypted data to Excel or Grid Report.

    I have seen this issue in the thread before but it was unresolved. The thread is from 2015 so I was hoping that some update or solution has been found.

     

    We can view the unencrypted data while in JotForm but when downloaded to excel all we see is encrypted data.

     

    Can provide examples if needed but I figure since this is a known issue.

    Unfortunately, it is not possible to export the encrypted form responses to Excel since it is required to provide the private key to decrypt the form submissions. Though the data is exported, the data will be displaying encrypted only. Since the private key is available only with you and it is not possible to decrypt the data without the key.

    However, a feature request is already open to export the encrypted data to a HTML/grid report. Please let us know if HTML/grid reports can be of some help to you so that we can send also forward this thread to our backend team.

    Sounds like a grid report would be helpful. All that is necessary is an organized manner in which to view the payment info so that our sales team can complete the transaction.
