I am working on a registration system that will require guests to re-register every year. The form is quite lengthy and I am looking for ways that guests could access their old form, update data, and re-submit. I am (my boss is) really trying to avoid setting up php pages and databases and would like to make this happen with native functions of jotform. I was thinking the "edit submission" feature would be a great place to start and I would like to know more about it.. how long can a form be edited? how is information recalled? I had initially thought it was using cookies or session IDs but it seems to work across devices and I see no url defined variables in the emailed link.

The edit link does not expire, it will allow the user to edit the form at any time. Let us know if you have more questions.
