    How to change share information

Asked by playmakersource on May 30, 2012 at 04:50 PM

First, thanks for helping me with my first question, the Add This code worked great.  Now as far as that Add This code goes, I would like to know the following:

How do I get the "shared " information to say something different on Facebook?  For instance, when you fill out my form it send an autoresponse email that contains the add this buttons.  When I share on Facebook, the shared information has a title and a brief description.  How do I change that information??

Do I use a META Tag like this:  <meta name="title" content="Playmaker Source College Recruiting Questionnaires" />  AND <meta name="description" content="I just used the free College Recruiting Questionnaire form to get any college questionnaire for my sport." />in the jotform code somewhere or is this something that must be changed on my wordpress site?  If this goes in jotform, where does it go?  Thanks so much!!

That should be done on your wordpress page. You do that with <meta> tags. Here's what Facebook says about this: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/share/, look for the "Configuring Meta Tags for Facebook Share" below.

    Hope this helps. Thanks!
