Erroneous Incomplete Values

This has happened 4 times in the last 2 days, on 2 different forms (clones), to 3 different users and on 4 different computers.

When a user fills out the form correctly and completely, everything goes through just fine on the Preview page, and then the user clicks the Submit button, there is this error:

Incomplete Values: There are incomplete fields in your submission: What attracted you to this Waldorf Weekend workshop? is required. Please go back and fix the problem(s).

In all cases the question was answered correctly before submitting, and the user was unable to submit the form, being prevented by this erroneous error.

Can you please help us correct this issue? It is really messing up the automated system that we have running around it.

    Thank you!

I have tested your form and I was able to replicate mentioned issue. After that I have cloned your form and same issue persist on my cloned form as well. I am not sure why this is happening considering that mentioned field is filled. It seems that mentioned field is somehow corrupted.

I was able to resolve mentioned issue on my cloned form, by recreating mentioned field. I deleted the field from the form and I added new one with same options.

Considering that your form does not have any submissions I would suggest you to do the same.

Here is my cloned form: https://www.jotformpro.com/form/70187046500954

Let us know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately this did not help. I even used incognito to fill out the form after recreating the field. I had a feeling that it would not work, since I had previously cloned the whole form, so it did not make sense to me that the field would be corrupt in the same place on two different forms. Anyway, I was able to correct the problem by deleting the Preview widget from the form. I've been suspecting that as causing all the wierd unsolvable problems that I've been having in jotform over the last year or so, and so far it seems that I might be right about my suspicion, since deleting it solved the problem. It would be nice if someone would investigate bugs in that widget. As for me, I'm going to stop using it.

If some field is not working properly on original form, then it will probably not work on cloned form as well.

I have tested my form again and I was not able to replicate mentioned issue. Did you tested my form? I have cloned my form and I unrequired payment field. Here is my new form:

    https://www.jotformpro.com/form/70224554270954

Feel free to test it and if it working correctly you can clone it to your account.

Which issues did you had with preview before submit widget? I have checked your other thread that you posted but I was not able to see findany bug report.

It would be the best if you can open new thread and provide us more details about your issues with preview before submit widget, so that we can raise it to our developers.

Thanks again for your reply. I was not having problems specifically with the preview widget, so you would not see any tickets for this. Rather, I have had strange problems in Jotform (once or twice a week during our busy season) where people have trouble with required fields even though they filled out the form correctly. Most of the time I do not submit a ticket because I know that you guys are not able to replicate the issue (I've done some programming in my past, so I know there's no point in submitting these tickets), yet I have experienced these issues on my very own computer, so I know that the complainers are not ALL guilty of user-error.  Also, even though most of these particular issues cannot be replicated, I see an overall pattern which I've been trying to solve for more than a year now.

There's definitely something going on with the programming in Jotform, because I rarely had any issues like this when we were using Formstack. Jotform is no where near as reliable as Formstack is, and I hate to say this because I was not fond of Formstack at all. I wish that Jotform was more reliable, because it causes our users a lot of frustration, causes our Institute embarrassment, costs me a lot of unnecessary time, and probably causes lost registrations.

There's no need for you to reply to this response, but it would be good if you can forward this to someone who can make a difference, because at some point I will be posting a detailed review about Jotform, since I was a long-time user of both platforms and I can give a good comparison.
