How can I create multiple discount codes for one item?

I want to offer registration to one event to different groups and give different discount amounts.  Is there a way to give out different codes to users for input into one field?

Yes, you can add coupons with different codes to take effect on the same product. Simply add your coupon code and select the same product it should affect the discount and you're good to go.
