Why is my email address being added to the Bounce List?

    Twice in the past week ruthbecker5706@msn.com has been added to the Bounce List prevented it from receiving notification emails of form submissions.  We have not had any issues with sending notification emails to ruthbecker5706@msn.com for the previous 12 months.  Why is this occurring now?

    Also, can we be notified when an email is added to the bounce list?  We are not responding in a timely matter to form submissions since we are not receiving the notification email and don't know that a form has been submitted.

    If your notifications are not coming through and your email address is on our bounce list. You can remove yourself by following the instructions provided at :

    This usually happens when the messages are rejected by your email service provider. Our servers will try several times to deliver the messages for a given time-frame, but if the delivery constantly fails, it will mark it as "old", "rejected" or similar, and it will store your recipient email address in our bounce list.     In addition, you can find our mail server domain list from this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/145-Whitelisting-JotMails-IP-AddressesYou may consider adding the list on your whitelist settings. 

    If the issue continues, our best recommendation to avoid email bouncing issues is to use your own SMTP settings for the sender email: https://www.jotform.com/help/244-How-to-Setup-SMTP-for-a-Form

    I'm getting this every single day. As fast as I take us off the bounce list - next time I log in we are back on it. We are missing so many forms now that it's starting to have a major impact. Is there any way my email can be permanelty removed from bouncing to avoid this please.

    Hello,

    We're sorry for the inconvenience you have.

    There can be some technical reasons to be involved in the bounce list frequently. However, there is no way to remove the email address permanently from the bounce list.

    The best way preventing bounce list is setting up your own SMTP servers instead of JotForm's. You can set your SMTP server as you can find in the following document: https://www.jotform.com/help/244-How-to-Setup-SMTP-for-a-Form. As I have checked, you had set up your own email address office@bulldogrescue.org.uk but you do not use it currently. Maybe, you can use it as a sender email hereafter.

    Thank you for the quick response!

    There have been no reported issues with Microsoft's MSN email servers this past week.  Why have JotForm's servers had problems connecting with Microsoft's MSN email servers causing my email to be added to the bounce list?
