    Hello,

We are a large school district in Illinois and we use your service on a regular basis. Recently, it has been mandated that our website has to comply with WCAG 2.0, Section 508 and the Equality Act 2010. This includes any services or vendors displaying content on our website.

We are in need of either: 1) WCAG 2.0 Support and/or VPAT statements regarding web accessibility issues; or 2) written confirmation that any information you provide on or through our website on or after March 1, 2017 is accessible to individuals with disabilities and compliant with W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (“WCAG”) AA.

Please be advised that going forward, we will not be able to enter or renew contracts with third-party vendors that are not compliant with WCAG 2.0 AA.

If you need examples of what the WCAG 2.0 documents and VPAT statements would contain, please let me know.

    Thank you.

    Any progress on this?

What is your support email and/or mailing address so we can send you our official letter to third party vendors concerning accessibility? This letter is to inform vendors that all third-party content and applications provided or displayed on our website, or via links on our website, must be accessible to individuals with disabilities.

    Thank you.

UPDATE: We are now supporting accessible forms.

We're happy to announce to you that JotForm now lets you create forms that are Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA compliant!

To make your form accessible, open it on the form builder, then go to:

    1) Settings

    2) Click on the Form Settings.

    3) Click on the Show More Options.

    4) Switch the Form Accessibility option to Enabled.

Our form builder will then analyze your form. If any accessibility issues are detected, warn you on the aspects that should be fixed to make the form accessible.

After that, all you need to do is adjust the form to address detected issues if there are any until all of the issues are resolved.

Also, please note that if your form is created in the old(Legacy) layout, you will see an Accessibility Enhancer Widget added to your form. This widget will automatically make your classic form more accessible, by improving the appearance of form validation warnings, and also adds ARIA(Accessible Rich Internet Applications Suite) attributes to your form. This widget is not needed for Card Layout forms. You may optionally consider selecting one of the ready-to-use accessible form themes. They are marked with a little human body icon in the form designer.
