Charge Extra Shipping For Non United States With Authorize.net?

Asked by lmforms on January 24, 2017 at 12:32 PM

Need to have a surcharge for international addresses (outside of US).

Can I use conditional logic so that if country is not equal to United States then add extra cost to shipping amount? Can you show me how to do that? Or is there a better way?

Hi, thank you for contacting us.

As the goal is to introduce a surcharge based on the selected country, would the tax facility work for you in this case?

Here is our guide on how to add a tax to your payment form, and it illustrates how you can set it up to be based on the country:

I hope it helps. If you need further assistance please let us know, we will be happy to help. Thank you.

This doesn't help. I don't want to configure a surcharge for every country. I want to add a flat-rate shipping amount for any country that is not the United States.

I like something similar to this solution: https://www.jotform.com/answers/985996-How-to-make-my-form-calculate-multiple-shipping-fees-depending-on-country-selected

This is not possible to pass a calculation value to the payment field unless you use a 'user defined amount' payment type.

Alternatively, you might consider adding a separate shipping product which is required and selected by default. Please check the next sample form.
