How to pass conditionally hidden fields to thank you and email

Part of my form contains fields that are hidden when a certain option is checked. Apparently that is what was causing my frustration that these hidden fields did not show up in emails nor thank you screen anymore. As one of these fields is an email address that is used to send notifications to, this is highly impractical. I already set the option in preferences to 'don't clear hidden fields', but that doesn't solve the problem.

Is there a way to keep the fields (conditionally) hidden in the form, yet have the values ALWAYS passed to the email and thank you screen?

    Thank you.
