two connected problems here:
the new interface does not display the popup for translating multilingual forms which means i have to use the old interface for this - not such a big problem, just inconvenientthe new interface supports addition of 'other' option for single choice question but this option does not display in the old interface and therefore cannot be translated because it does not come up in the translation popup - a much bigger problem now
Can you help?

If I understand your concern correctly, you want to set a translation for the "Other" option in the radio button field using the old interface. I cloned your form (https://eu.jotform.com/build/70094626636359) and I noticed that the Country field that you set as an example in your screenshot does not display the "Other" option since the "Allow Other" setup is disabled. Please enable the "Allow Other" setting to display the "Other" option.
Once the "Allow Other" setting has been enabled, the "Other" option will be available and it will also be available in the Translation popup.
Regarding on your concern on the Translation setting on the new interface, it seems that the Translation is not yet working properly on the new interface. I will move the issue on a separate thread so we can report this to our development team. You can check the thread here: https://www.jotform.com/answers/1045845
Do let us know if you need further assistance.
