Noticed that jotform, unlike many other well known form systems, does not allow you to easily have a donation form that has both suggested giving levels AND a user-entered amount in the same element.
I researched it, and most speak of creating two fields on the form (user input AND product list), and then using a calculator widget to total that; then pass that to a payment page. While that is clever, it is a challenge for the customer experience.
Any chance that 4.0 will let us do this in a more user-friendly manner? Most systems allow you to create a list of radio buttons with set amounts for each radio button, but also the option to add at the end of the radio list a final radio button that also has a text box for user entered amount.
The UX challenge with your solutions are clear. I'm hoping Jotform can create this functionality that mimics traditional donation behavior, rather than forcing both my form builders and my constituency to do something different.Page URL:
