I want to control the naming of a submitted form. Ideally I'd like to use one of the fields to name the submitted file. Ideas?

I assume that you would like to change the title of the form or subject of the email:
You can place, for example, one field in the form and use its value to name the form in notification email:
For example, I used text field to be my title:
Hope this is what you had in mind. If you have any further questions, please get back to us.

I dont quite follow the example given. Here is my form. https://www.jotform.com//?formID=70254403827150 I would like for the file to be named after whatever get place in the "company name" field. do i need to replace that with another that will allow this? Thanks.

Ok. I figured that example out. Still want to change the default naming of the submitted file. I am submitting directly to g drive and the default name is the submission date and time. if I get too many of these it will get confusing

Ok, thanks for clarifying it. Now I understand.
In your Google Drive integration, you can specify the name of the sub-folder and the name of the submission PDF:
I used the same text field for example, but you can use any, or you can combine, just check multiple options.
You will have to remove the existing integration of Google Drive to achieve that.
Hope it helps.

This worked great. Thanks.
Would you know how to keep g drive from making a new folder? I just want the form to appear in an exsisting folder not a new one

I'm afraid that the folder must be there. Now, the only way to have one folder created is to use the same name, but then the problem is that the submission files will be the same as well.
So whatever you put for subfolder's name will be the name of the file as well.
And I'm afraid that that is not possible to change to work in some other way.
