Hi Debbie,
There was a bug in 2011 but that bug was been fixed since.
By the way, another way to achieve your goal is to enable auto-fill in your form.
This will make the user's browser save (locally) the data as he enters it. The downside to this solution is that the user must open the form on the same browser to retrieve his saved details.
