Hi there,
I am putting together a conference registration form for my school. We are currently on the bronze plan.
We would like to accept credit cards via the form, but not through a service such as Paypal. It looks like, in your templates, this is possible. However, according to your FAQs it is against the terms of service.
Could you provide some clarity for me?
Thank you!
Alex

You can get the billing information details by enabling the payment authorization in our payment tools like PayPal, Stripe and Authorize.Net. Please refer to this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/292-How-to-Enable-Payment-Authorization
Our terms prohibit collecting credit card information on plain text fields. It means you cannot use regular fields to capture credit card information. This is a sensitive data. If you do so, your account might get suspended automatically by our phishing tool.
If you have any questions, let us know. Thank you.

accruickReplied on January 27, 2017 at 11:45 AMThank you for the reply. My confusion lies in this template provided by
jotforms. It shows here credit cards being acceptable via standard plain
text forms. Am I reading this wrong?
Thank you.

accruickReplied on January 27, 2017 at 1:45 PMIt is in the template "conference registration" - the first hit that comes
up when you type "conference registration" into the search:

I cloned the template and I can see that the credit card fields are not a plain text fields. It is using the PayPal service or payment processor. Please see the image below:
Hope that helps. Thank you.
