Create an Online Voting form in jotform.

I would like to be able to create an online form (ballot) where people could vote. My questions...

1) Would I be able to restrict the voting to people on an authorized list (members)? If "yes", how?

2) Would I be able to restrict the authorized voter to only one vote?

If you want to create a voting form, it is possible with JotForm. As a workaround, you can set an Access Code to your form so that only an authorize people can access your form. But be mindful not to use other labels like password, username, login, etc. that against our Terms of Use and might trigger our anti-phishing tool.

Then you can Hide/Show the form based from the conditions. Please refer to this guide: Smart Forms Using Conditional Logic

Yes, you will be able to restrict the authorized voter to only one vote. You can limit a person to submit your form by setting a unique submissions on your form. Please refer to this guide: How to Set Unique Submissions on a Form.

Thank you for these helps. What if two people used the same computer and shared an email. Would only one person be able to vote? Is there any way to compare their submission (ie. their ID#) with a list of eligible responses?

If you use the unique submissions on your form, it prevents users doing multiple submissions. Yes, it would only allow one person be able to vote.
