"Less than " condition not working

Asked by createmymobile on June 06, 2012 at 02:04 AM

On my "mortgage app" form, I have a condition for the first field that asks "# of years at current residence" if that is less than 2 years, then "previous address" will show (unhide).  However, previous address remains hidden no matter what...

    Hi,

You are correct on this information. The condition for the number field seems to be bugged.

I tried it myself and I can make the previous address field ony Show by making the "# years" condition equal to "empty" BUT then you cannot reverse the condition anymore. Meaning, even if the field is "filled" the address field will not hide.

Please let us investigate on it further before we forward this to our Next Level support to justify the issue. Perhaps I could have missed something and it could be working.

I will update this post as soon as I have the confirmation.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I confirm that the number field will not recognize the less than/greater than conditions logic if used on the form. I will create a ticket for this and have it forwarded to our Next Level support for further checking and a fix.

For the meantime, I can only suggest a workaround which I also tested to work on your requirement.

That is, we use the drop down field instead as the "# years" field for the condition. I setup the condition like this.

The drop down selection value is any number sequence (ex. 1-10). So, the condition is to show the "address field" if value of "# years" is either 1 or 2. Then if 3 onwards -- it should hide

You can test the form here

Hope this help you in anyway. Please inform us if you have further inquiry.

    Thanks.
