I've searched the forum and failed to find the answer. I'm trying to set up a donation form with a recurring payment option and it seems that selecting "subscription" is the way to go. However, I don't see that option, even though the instructions on the forum seem to indicate that if you select "sell a product" it's an available choice. Please clarify.

I examined the Square integration and I could not find a recurring payments option. The available options are selling products, receiving donations and having a user defined amount.

So am I correct in understanding that the options are dependent on the gateway? Or is it how the gateway is configured in your system?

I believe this is a matter of our Square integration lacking support for what Square provides according to https://squareup.com/invoices/recurring-payments

Hello,
Square recurring is supported by JotForm now. You can use Square Recurring integration with JotForm.
When you select 'Sell Subscription' as Payment Type, you can create subscription plans and collect payments.
