It seems to me that you want to create a sort of narrative solution within your form field questions.

We have some narrative-based widgets that you might be of interest to you.

However, for something like this it may be better to use a sort of form calculation to get and input words into other fields as they are entered which is possible.

Please take a look at this https://www.jotform.com/help/268-Conditional-Logic-Inserts-Text-Calculation-Into-A-Field for a better understanding.

    Hi KadeJM,

Interesting....but these all input info into fields.

Is it possible to create a more conversational style of questioning, where I personalise the questions (nit the answers) using their name and perhaps any previous answers they've given?

Do you mean more like a quoted conversation or even the narrative widgets instead of listed fields?

Yes, that's certainly possible with the Text Field which supports the use of some html.

To make it work that way you can write out your conversations in advance and get the field id's then place them into the Text Field wherever you want that input value to appear.

This is possible to use unique field names to show dynamic content.

    - Get the field's unique name.

Since the unique name in this case is {name}, you can use that tag and also {name:first} to get the first name and {name:last} to get the last name.

    - Use it within text field.

    - And/or within field labels.

    Hi Mike,

Brilliant.....except it seems to only work with text content (not fields) the new Form Builder. Will need to revert to the old builder, or keep this to text blocks above and between questions.

    Thanks, Ian....
