Is it possible to use an image as the background of the header only?

    Yes, that can be done.

    Inject the following CSS, substituting your image's URL for mine:

    .form-header-group {
    background: transparent url(http://img812.imageshack.us/img812/3807/cherriesthumbnail.png) repeat;
    }

    This will apply the background to every heading in the form. Applying it to only certain headings would require more specificity. For example, if a heading's ID is cid_1 and you want to apply the background in the above rule to that heading only, you would precede the selector with #cid_1 and a space, as follows:

    #cid_1 .form-header-group {
    background: transparent url(http://img812.imageshack.us/img812/3807/cherriesthumbnail.png) repeat;
    }

    Tools like Firebug are quite useful when trying to figure out what selector to use.
