Add a Google Font to the default font menu?

I read the posts on how to add a Google font we wanted to use.  What We found, after adding through the instructions,  is that the font only shows on the form once it goes live on the site.  And, the newly added font is not part of the drop down choices going forward.  Is there a way to add a Google Font to our default choices of fonts and see that font while we are creating the form rather than after it's published?

The fonts we have available cannot be updated.  The only way to add other Google Fonts to your form would be the method described in this thread:

This does not add the font to the list available, only apply the font to the form.
