How can I setup a field in the form, so that the participants can receive the pdf form as email?Asked by 1417268 on February 02, 2017 at 07:29 AM
1. Situation: I am a long time JF member and like it very much. I created a form that students can fill.
2.1 How can I setup a field in the form, so that the participants can receive the pdf form (I can export) as email, if requested?)2.2 Feature Request: When exporting pdf files, I would like the option to add the users names in the export file name as well, otherwise I have to manually sort through the output myself.2.3 When exporting data to Excel, I wanted to transpose the sheet, however an error message said, that some fields were longer than 256 characters.2.4 How can i setup debit cards (Maestro) in Stripe as well?2.5 How can I setup a order form, that when payment is okay, send temporary links for the files the customer ordered, e.g. for max. 3 times download or a pre-determined time like 7 days.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Please find the answers below:
2.1. You can create the PDF form and sent it inside an email, manually. Unfortunately, the PDF form can not be shared via email in JotForm.
More you can do could be: you can enable PDF Attachment option in the autoresponder email settings. So, the submission of the users will be sent as a PDF attachment in an email as you can see the screenshot below of the Autoresponder settings:
Please check the following guide for detailed information related to Autoresponder emails: https://www.jotform.com/help/26-Setting-Up-an-Autoresponder-Email
On the other hand, you can add a "print" button to your form as you can see in this document. So, when your users click the "Print" button, they will be able to save the form in PDF format with their answers.
