    Hi

I want users to only select options from the auto-complete list that pops up:

Auto Complete Widget: Ability to avoid users to enter options not listed in the widget Screenshot 20

I do not want them to be able to type anything except for the items that appear in the auto-complete list.

Please do let me know if this is possible?

    Thank you!

This is not currently possible in the Auto Complete widget, users could enter anything in the form no matter if it is not an option in the form.

I will forward this thread to our second level as a feature request so this can be considered by our developers, do note that we cannot provide you an ETA or ensure this will be implemented, but we will let you know as soon as we get any updated regarding this.

In the meantime, you could use a different widget, here's one that may help you: http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/multiple_selection

It allows to list items, has a search box and it does not allow users to enter anything they want, only options listed in the widget.

    Hi Kevin_G,

Thanks for the response. I would really appreciate it if this feature was added to the Auto Complete widget as soon as possible since it would solve a lot of our issues. I'll give the multiple selection widget a look in the meantime.

    Thanks,
