Display appropriate column based on a selection on Configurable list

Asked by hndga on February 04, 2017 at 09:39 PM

OK - I have a registration form that has 5 columns that entrants need to be able to select each that applies.

I have tried the checkbox - but that doesn't tell me which columns they chose when they submit.

I also tried the radio button - same issue but it also doesn't let me unselect the button if I choose it.

Do you mean to display the options based on the selection on the configurable list? If so, unfortunately, it not possible to set conditions using the configurable list and it is required to use the normal fields.

If you are referring to something different, please let us know and provide us with more information so that we can help with.

    Thank you!

When filling out the form selecting the radio button for which show the animal will be participating in works great.  But, when it comes to me as a submission there is nothing in the column showing what column they checked.

Ex:  This form is to register goats for a goat show.  If a member is planning to show in the Youth shows only they would select Fri Yth and Sun Yth.

Another member may be bringing 10 goats and wants to show all of them in the SatAM and Sat PM shows but 3 of those goats won't show well on the second day so only 7 of them will be showing in the Sun show.

I need to be able to know which goats are showing for which shows when I receive the submission.

Hence, selecting the radio button in each column of the show they are participating in.  If the submission would just show a check or something that it was selected would be wonderful.

I understand that you want to display the related options from the payment field as you select the options in widget?

So you want to display the selected options in the payment field. Is that correct? Unfortunately, it is not possible since while using conditions, the widget and the payment field are considered as single fields and individual conditions cannot be applied. In this case, it is required to use separate fields for both widget and payment field.

Please refer to the guide below that can help you with show/hide multiple fields based on users selection.

The following guides might help in calculating the total of various fields n the form and send the value to the payment field.
