I want to create a form and embed it in my clients Squarespace site. On submitting the form, with attachments, can it be emailed directly to my client, with the uploaded files, or will they have to log-in to JotForm to retrieve the information?

If you want that your client receive emails with attachments, then you need to set email address of your client as recipient email address of email Notification inside of your form.
If you want that files that were uploaded to he form are sent as attachments inside of email Notification then you need to set Send Uploads as Attachment option to YES inside of email Notification settings.
