How do I hide one question on a form after it's no longer applicable?

I've created a registration form that contains three questions, each question representing one event. As the date of each event passes, I would like to hide the outdated event. How do I do this? I don't see a hide option. Do I have to set up a conditional that will hide the question (event) after a specified date? Please explain. Thanks.

If you using v3 form builder, you may hide the field from the quick menu by right-clicking on the field.

If you are using our new version form builder, you can hide the field from the Advanced tab in the field properties.
