Custom HTML availability on Google Sites

Joining in on this topic: do you think the custom HTML will become available in future releases of Google Sites? Is there any official communication of Google of what they are planning?

As far as I know we are not in an official communication with Google on what their future plans are about Google Sites. So, I am not able to provide you a proper information about if embedding will be available.
