Does JotForm have an e-sign fillable PDF form

Hello there, I am looking for an affordable product that will allow customers to easily complete and e-sign a fillable pdf form.  It is a yearly liability release firm for a youth ranch.

We have used fillable pdf forms in the past but discovered users had trouble completing them fully electronically due to various pdf viewer limitations. ( Requiring them to download adobe acrobat and following careful steps was not a sucess.)

Additionally we would want each form to be emailed to us as an attachment directly from the web

On this end, simple code will leverage itextsharp to scrape entries from the pdf attachment and update the customers record on our servers.

We only need this for one form and it would be a few thousand records a year.

Does your product support these requirements?

    Thanks,

    Rachel

    Hi Rachel,

I also recommend creating an account if you haven't yet. You can use this link https://www.jotform.com/signup to signup using your email account.

    ---

As to your inquiry, E-signature and fillable PDF Forms are 2 separate features we have on our Form Builder.

    #1 Announcing-E-Signatures-for-Forms

    #2 How-to-Create-a-Fillable-PDF-Form-using-JotForm

Unfortunately, this 2 features do not come together. The E-signature widget will not work on the fillable PDF forms. Only some of the form regular fields will be available when you convert the form to PDF form version.

Let us know if there is more we can help you with.

Your other question deserve a discussion on its own. I created a separate thread for it here https://www.jotform.com/answers/1062395
