How can I integrate Jotform with MediaWiki to allow users to create articles?

Asked by Roger on February 10, 2017 at 12:40 AM

    Hi everyone!

I would like to set up a nice form for users to write out articles in a fun way and then once they submit the text, it will become an article. How can I do that?

Unfortunately, we do not have an integration with MediaWiki that would allow creation of articles based on form submissions.

However, this can be accomplished if you are a developer familiar with MediaWiki's API and PHP. JotForm has a functionality that allows you to send the submission data via POST method. You can learn more about it on this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/51-How-to-Post-Submission-Data-to-Thank-You-Page. You can also use WebHooks for the target PHP script: https://www.jotform.com/help/245-How-to-Setup-a-Webhook-with-JotForm

You can check the following link from MediaWiki for further help:

    I hope that helps.
