How do I modify my PDF and allow it to be sent to be sent via email?

I am building a form that will give my clients an instant estimate when they fill it out.  I want it to look good when they get it.  I would also like it to look good on my end when I get it.  I thought I saw something on 4.0 that let me customize a PDF but I can't find it for my life now!  Maybe that was on my ipad and i'm on pc now...

Hello again, Carlton_Black. I see that the PDF option you are looking for is quite different compared to the other thread you have commented on.

To answer your query here, if you are looking for a way how to customize the PDF reports of the submissions you receive, that option can be found on your submissions page. You can follow the steps from this guide to know how: https://www.jotform.com/help/212-How-to-Create-a-PDF-Form

If you have further questions or if you need assistance, please let us know.

    Thanks.

I'm trying to figure out how to send myself and my customer an attractive
report once they have completed the form.

Once you have modified your PDF, you can provide a link to your autoresponder a download link of the PDF file of the specific submission made.

    To do this:

    1) On your form builder, click on Settings.
    2) View your left panel and click Emails.
    3) Select the Autoresponder email that is designed to be sent to your form users.
    4) Click on Email.
    5) Click on Form Fields on the tool bar menu of the email body
    6) Select PDF link.

So the next coming submissions you get, an email will be sent to the person who filled up the form. In the email, there shall be a download link of the PDF submission with your layout of the PDF report in it.

Another method is by attaching the PDF submission. In order to enable this:

    1) On your form builder, click on Settings.
    2) View your left panel and click Emails.
    3) Select the Autoresponder email that is designed to be sent to your form users.
    4) Click Advanced.
    5) Switch PDF Attachment to Yes

Once done, save your settings. This will allow the attachment of the PDF to every autoresponder email sent.

For sending yourself an email, you will need to make use of Email Notifications. Quite a similar approach is done except that email notifications is designed to send an email to the form owner (you), while the autoresponder is designed to send emails to the users.
