Is it possible to conditionally insert line breaks in paragraph?

Asked by speedclothes on February 13, 2017 at 02:29 PM

Thanks, this solved the problem.  On a different note, how do you add a line break with conditional logic to a paragraph of text in a long text entry field?

    For example, this sentence:

    ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ

    Should appear like this:

    ABCDEFGHIJK

    LMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ

If I understood you correctly, you would like to conditionally insert the break in text inside the text field?

If that's the case, I'm afraid that it is not possible to do that with our tools, unless you are expecting the same values in those fields every time?

Then maybe we can create a condition to recognize those values and replace them, but that's a big IF as well.

    We'll wait for your response.

    Thank you!

ok, I'll just use espérate text fields for each paragraph then.

On another note, the DateTime widget doesn't appear to be working. Is there another way to automatically include the date without having the user input it? I'd like to pass the date value to a text field paragraph using conditional logic. Thanks!
