Can you confirm what happens with the data once you have filled in the form? CAn it be saved as a Word or PDF?

When the form is submitted the data will be accessible through the submissions page, there you could create a report of all your submissions by following this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/73-How-to-Download-Form-Submissions-as-Excel-CSV-PDF
You could also set up email notifications and include the PDF report of the submission, this guide will help you to add the notification to your form: https://www.jotform.com/help/25-Setting-Up-Email-Notifications
To include the PDF report in the email you should go to the form settings tab and emails section, edit the email where you want to include the PDF file and go to the advanced tab, once there turn on the PDF attachment option:
