Is there any update on this thread?
Is the "Answered by NeilVicente on October 31, 2015 at 12:57 AM" (third comment from the bottom) still the most relevant info or solution to the original question of how to be notified of payment failure?
I am new to Stripe and don't know don't know enough about them to know if they've enhanced their back-end systems with payment failure notifications when processing is passed through 3rd party like JotForm.

I checked the thread URL you posted and last post from NeilVicente was:
