Asked by gary edwards  on February 15, 2017 at 12:36 PM

    Hello;

I've been tasked with setting up relaying of messages through our hosted office 365 mail servers.

Out domain is hosted by microsoft.

Do you have any support documents on how to set this up?

    Thank You,

    Hello Gary,

What is the error you receive? I tried with mine, and, unfortunately, I wasn't able to add it since it is completely custom domain that is not recognizable as real email address by our SMTP setup. So I'm wondering if you are experiencing something similar.

    We'll wait for your response.

    Thank you!

    I don’t get an error message. I don’t get a delivery.
I got called in on the problem yesterday and I’m trying to figure out why it’s not working the way things should work. I’ve setup many of these type of relays.
I’m currently working with Microsoft as to a possible solution. The problem seems to be with them at present as I cannot even get a standard mail client to work to send emails. (Thunderbird).
When I did try to add the full jotform.com ip range I got an error on their configuration. I will talk with the techs tomorrow AM for more information.
    Will keep you updated.
    Thank you,
    Gary

That's probably because of an account restriction. Are you the administrator of the Office 365 account? Please check if SMTP is enabled on your account.

I have my own Office 365, I got the SMPT to work. I used the following options:

Yes, I’m the admin of the account and domain.
Smtp is and was enabled and used to work.
The pic below is 100% what was done Tuesday with tech support from MS. Tried two different accounts with those setting and confirmed password.
    Yea, I know, weird.
I’m on the phone with them again this AM.
    Thanks
