Conditional emails

I have a dropdown list with our trainers names . When a student selects the assessor from the list i want it to send the notification to him. I went to conditional email set up condition on assessor name field but i cant see how if for example i select Jerry Scarlett from the list it sends notiifcation1 email to his email address, if they select Jeff Wright it sends to his email address etc.
