What happens if you go over your quota with a free account?

    1.  Does JotForm automatically switch you over to a paid account if you exceed the free features?

    2.  Will all the submissions you receive from your prospects come to a halt once the free features' quota is met?  If yes, what will the prospects experience when trying to submit a form to your account?

    3.  Once the features of your free account have been exceeded, and you switch to a paid account, can you ever go back to a free account?

JotForm does not automatically switch your account from Free Plan to Paid Plan when your account exceeded the limits. Once your account exceeded the limit, your forms will be disabled. A notification will be sent to your email when your account is near the limit so you can upgrade your account manually as necessary.

    2.  Will all the submissions you receive from your prospects come to a halt once the free features' quota is met?  If yes, what will the prospects experience when trying to submit a form to your account?

If your account has exceeded the limit, you can still access the existing submission on your forms. However, new submission cannot be submitted once you reached your account's limit since the forms are disabled.

    3.  Once the features of your free account have been exceeded, and you switch to a paid account, can you ever go back to a free account?

Yes, you can go back to Free Plan anytime you want. You just need to downgrade your account back to Free Plan. Please note that you will need  to manually upgrade or downgrade your account depending on your need. We do not automatically upgrade account when the account reaches the limit. We just disable the forms of the account to avoid further submissions.
