Why I'm getting please wait when clicking the submit button?

I have never had this issue before.  It is happening by just one person and they have tried it multiple times.  This form has been successfully used by many people.  It is a cloned form.  (We use one template for the year, clone it and adjust it for our events throughout the year.  Is that a bad idea?)

I tested your form (please ignore my submission) and I wasn't able to replicate this problem:

If it is happening for one user only, please check with them if they don't have some add-ons that could block some parts of the form or something else in their Browser. You could advise them to check from another Browser as well.

If the issue persists, please let us know.

    Thank you!

I got another email from this user and another Jotform (form a link--not embedded) wouldn't work for her--same "please wait" issue.  I do not want to ask her to check another browser.  Any other thoughts?

Unfortunately, that must be related to your user's Browser or some extensions/plugins they have. Since it is a direct link to the form, not embedded, so there is no conflict happening.

I tested your form again and the same result on my end:

If you have any additional questions please let us know.

    Thank you!

Could you give me some examples of possible plug-ins or browsers that may be causing this issue?

    Hello Jo,

I don't have the list of plug-ins that could do that, maybe it's better to check with your users if they have any plug-in installed and to try to submit the form when the plug-in is disabled. I have one plug-in that can cause that, but I'm pretty sure that your users are not using that one, it's called Cross-origin-resource-sharing. Also, it's not that plug-ins will affect jotform only, some plugins can affect a big part of browsing experience.

Maybe even easier would be if your users can test the same form from any other Browser and see if the issue persists.

If we can be of any additional assistance, please let us know.

    Hi there,

I am amending a form at the moment and coming across the same problem - the preview form widget is not showing a submit button and instead is showing 'please wait'
