    Problem with email notification not updating changes on form

    Why when I edit the form, it changes the content of the emails 1 and 2 itself (Without me to touch it) and creates a self-report (Without me to create it)

    How to prevent this from happening?

    Hi there,

    Are you referring to this form - http://www.jotformz.com/form/70370538955665? I cloned it and did some edits to the email notifications and autoresponders but unable to replicate your issue.

    Did you happen to click the plus (+) sign just above your email notifications and autoresponders.

     

    The third email template in your form seems to be a new autoresponders generated when you click on that plus (+) sign.

    The problem is: the left template made by me, I noticed that after adding a field in the form (not in the email) changes the template on the right, but only changes that is in the red circle, Of this outside remains the equal, and happens without me modifying it.

    The third email template I did it to do the capture for the example (but it creates a third mail)(Without me to create it)

    Once you modify the email notification template, it won't be able to fetch changes from the form. With that, you will have to manually enter the field variables on the modified email template.

    Sorry but I'm not quite sure what you mean with the third template, if you don't need it, you can simply delete it in your form.

    Hi, It happened again, add a text field to the form and modified the notification mail template (itself).

    Why does that happen?

    Sorry, what exactly happened on the notification when you add a text field in your form?

    Hi.

    This is my mail template

    And the result is this

    But every time I add a new item to the form, like a text field, This happens

    the mail template changes itself.

    I was able to reproduce the problem on a cloned version of your form but it is not happening when I test it on my forms.

    I'm not quite certain but I think the system tries to fix the messed up notification template whenever you make changes to your form.

    Please try to recreate the email notification. Create a new notification then delete all its content including the table which is specifically the one that keeps reverting to its default layout. Then start customizing using a new table from the toolbar.
