Disable auto-save is useful to prevent a partial update of form while editing. Can this feature be restored in JotForm version 4?

This isn't possible on v4 and I am not quite sure if this is going to be added but I still have raised this to our developers as a feature request. You will be informed here for any updates we may have related to this.

    Elton,

Any updates from developers on this? If not is it possible to go back to the old version?

As my colleague said in his post, this is a feature request and we can not promise you an exact time interval about the implementation. Features are considered by the developers according to number of coming request and the availability of the implementation. However, you will be notified via this thread either it is decided to be implemented or not.

If you would like to switch back to V3, you can change your version from your setting page.

I don't understand removing this feature.  Currently, the only way to update a form is:

    1. Revert back to version 3

    -OR-

    2. Clone your form and make the changes there before you publish the new form

Neither solution is ideal.  In the first method, there are some kinks when reverting back to v3, and some form elements are not supported properly. In the second method, your submissions are now separated. If you have to make three or four clones of the form over the course of it's life, you will have to search between three or four submission spreadsheets.

Removing auto-save is crucial to a form that auto-updates it's changes live.
