A few questions about your Google Spreadsheet Integration

Asked by SKGroup on February 21, 2017 at 05:50 AM

    Hi there,

Is the google spreadsheet integration reverse compatible. How do you delete an entry for a from from the google spreadsheet.

Secondly, there are many instances where the form integration freezes up. is there a work around to this

Thirdly when i reintegrate, is there anyway i can get the integrated file to have the same google sheet id.

    Thanks

    Hey there! 😊

Is the google spreadsheet integration reverse compatible. How do you delete an entry for a from from the google spreadsheet.

No, it's not - Our integration only works one-way. The sheet relies from the data coming from us so there's no way for your Submission Data to be modified if the sheet is modified.

Also, we don't recommend that you modify the sheet (in any way if possible) to avoid breaking the integration.

Secondly, there are many instances where the form integration freezes up. is there a work around to this

Since this may require further tests and confirmation from you, I moved it to a separate thread https://www.jotform.com/answers/1071906

We'll have it addressed there shortly.

Thirdly when i reintegrate, is there anyway i can get the integrated file to have the same google sheet id.

Each time you re-integrate with Google Spreadsheet, it will always create a new link/file. I'm afraid there's no way to keep the old link/file that was previously setup prior to re-integration.

In case you have more questions, don't hesitate to ask.
