I, too, am looking for the same kind of timer.  Has widget that can do this been created since this person posed the question last May?  If so, can you please direct me to the widget?  If not, is there any possibility of having one created?

    Thank you!

    Hello Cat,

If you're looking for the similar feature, to have a widget that will act as a stopwatch, unfortunately, it is not created yet.

What exactly you would like to do with your form?

Maybe we can create some sort of a workaround for you.

    We'll wait for your response.

    Thank you!

    That would be wonderful!
We are tracking workflows, specifically how long it takes to room a patient. Here would be a rough idea of the breakdown of 4 specific tasks that we audit:
Patient Check In: Start time: Stop time: Total minutes:
Start time is when conversation starts with front desk, stop time is when the patient walks away from the front desk.
Patient Rooming: Start time: Stop time: Total minutes:
Start time is when the patient’s name is called from the waiting room; stop time is when they are in the exam room (includes weight & BP checks)
Physician Exam: Start time: Stop time: Total minutes:
Start time is when the physician enters the room; stop time is when they exit the room.
Patient Check Out: Start time: Stop time: Total minutes:
Start time is when the medical assistant enters the room; stop time is when the patient walks out the clinic doors.
I did find a template that had something that will work for now. It also calculates the number of minutes, which is amazing! However, I’m not sure if the start and stop times are from an actual widget. It would be nice if that could be made into a widget or maybe something that actually acts like a stopwatch and records the times with the press of a button. If you’d like to look at my form titled “Keith,” you will see what I’m trying to describe.
I hope this all makes sense. You and your team are incredible for offering to make a work around. As an enterprise (Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin), we are planning on telling all of our clinics about JotForm and have them sign up to use you for audits.
Also, while I have your attention, are there any options for annual billing (where you send us an invoice and we pay it)? As it stands now, I pay this from my personal credit card and I’d rather not do that.
    Thanks again…for everything!!!
    I LOVE JOTFORM!

Hi @kittycat513, I see the form you are working on. So, you would like to have a start button and stop button to automatically capture the time, instead of having the user to manually input it through the Time field:

Create a Widget: that tracks start and stop time by pressing a button, similar to the time range property of the Time field, but without the manual in Image 1 Screenshot 30

I was trying to think of a workaround to accomplish this, but I do not see a widget useful for this. I have forwarded a request to our back-end team, in order to have a widget that tracks the start and stop time with a button. I am guessing you want something like this:

Create a Widget: that tracks start and stop time by pressing a button, similar to the time range property of the Time field, but without the manual in Image 2 Screenshot 41

Please note that there is no estimated time-frame for a resolution. You will be notified via this thread if this gets implemented.

Could there also be a plus (+) option to add and additional timing?

    Hello kittyca513,

There are no updates regarding this, but your message will reach our backend team for a possible implementation of the feature.

Thank you for getting back to us.
