When I switched back to the old JotForm from 4.0, I lost all records of reservations for a 3.1.17 event.

I guess you are referring to this form: http://www.jotform.us/form/70325922799163, correct? I see it does not have submissions. Please let us know how many submission you had on that form, so we can forward this to our back-end team.

    Hello,
On the JotForm 4 version of this event, there were at least 55 reservations, and more might have come in. It is urgent for me to locate the records.
I thought that everything would be saved on both versions.
    Thank you.

Yes, the version should not affect the submissions. I tested it by creating a form in version 4, made some dummy submissions and switch back to Version 3. The submitted data was still there.

I am not sure what would have caused the deletion of data.

I am forwarding the issue to our development team so they can investigate further.

You will be notified in the same thread.

    Thanks for your patience.

    Hey Rea,

I checked this form, 03.01.17 35th America's Cup Update with Tucker Thompson and I couldn't find any trace regarding the submissions you cannot locate. There are no email (autoresponders&notifications) logs that belongs to this form. As if it never got any submissions.

If we are pointing out the correct form, I need you to share with us, at least one email, autoresponder or notification - doesn't matter, email information. And as you are also stating that, you lost these submissions upon switching to the old builder, please give us the exact date of that switch so we can scan our database for if there was something wrong happened on that day.

    Hello Scott,
I made the switch on either 2/16 or 2/17 or 2/20. Sorry not to be more precise. I keep ALL notifications for all reservations in my email account, and can find no record of March 1st reservations. This is very strange as I know there were about 55 reservations. I usually download and print the list, but did not do this one as more reservations were expected. Is there any way that deletions can be checked? I never delete entries but am trying everything. Please advise.
    Thank you.

    Hey Rea,

I can check this with our Development Operations Team tomorrow. Before that, I'm curious about something. It looks like you have imported this form from Adobe Forms Central. Were this form open for submissions on the web or did you shared this form as a Fillable PDF?

I checked your account history logs and was not able to find any information regarding this form. I even went further and checked out your sub-users' history logs and nothing came up.

As I said above, I have to check it with the DevOps team, but I am sorry to say that the situation is not looking much bright; since neither you nor we are able to find any evidence that these submissions were made.

    Scott,
Many of our forms were imported from Adobe Forms Central when we switched to JotForm at least a year ago. It’s possible that the 3/1/17 form was cloned from one of those forms which are archived. The form was open for submissions on NYYC’s website calendar (via a link from the form). I’m not sure about a Fillable PDF.
It’s highly unusual that the reservations and notifications are both gone, and timing couldn’t be worse, since the event is next Wednesday.
Thank you for any further assistance that you can provide.

    Scott,
By the way, the 3/1/17 event was just publicized in an email to the membership, and two reservations came in when they clicked on the link.

    Hey Rea,

We have gone through our database, with the information you have provided, but I am sorry to say that there is nothing. I wish there was some way we could help you more but for the time being we got our hands tied.

Let me know if there is any other way we can help you and we would gladly support you.
