Quick question.  We have PAYPAL selected as a payment option.  When a user completes the form and presses submit and it launches PAYPAL.   At what point does the data transmit back to us as a completed form?  My question is, can someone cancel the transaction in PAYPAL, not make a payment and the form still transmit to us?

We want to make sure this does not happen.

    Hopefully my question is clear

    thanks

P.S. AWESOME product! our testing seems to be going well.

    Hello EastonCity,

Please note that as soon as the submit button of form is clicked, the data is captured and then users are redirected to PayPal. If the users do not settle or complete the payment on PayPal chekcout page, that submission is marked as "Incomplete Payments".

That means what you are trying to achieve is possible. The incomplete payments are not visible in form's submission page but you can manually complete it and then it should be visible in yoru form's submission page. You may like to take a look at the following guide which should help you:

Please note that you can also setup notification email for incomplete payments as well. The following guide should help you:  https://www.jotform.com/help/273-How-to-Setup-Incomplete-Payment-Notification-E-Mail

    Hope this answers your query.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!
