IO have a client trying to respond to the FAO Internal form and he informed me that having completed 2/3 of the form, he left it momentarily, and when coming back (from original questionnaire and same computer) nothing was recorded. I suggested he tried again as the information is saved until he presses the submit button.   He has got back to me and says:  "I confirm that electronic form is not saving my input, I did wait for about 10 sec’ before closing it, and when reopening it, from same button, nothing was saved.  That was yesterday, and today, I tried again (only a few lines J ) and nothing…"    Can you help?

    Hello IanFlint,

I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.

I did test your form and I am not able to replicate the issue you are having. The data I input in form fields was saved and it was also accessible when I access the form again in a different window of same browser. Please check the screenshot below:

Please note that auto fill feature saves the input data in browser cookie every few seconds. That means if the user access the form again from other browser, other system or clear the browser cache, the saved data will not be accessible. The following guide should help you:  http://www.jotform.com/help/227-How-to-Enable-Auto-Fill-Feature-Save-Form-Entries-to-Continue-Later

I would suggest to please test your form again within same browser and see if the issue persists.

    Thank you!

I have just received a message from a client with the same problem. They have completed the Oaktree Agency Questionnaire, went back to send it and it is blank. They are using the same computer and browser - what could be the problem?

    Hello Ian,

If your client was using same browser on same system, then the most likely cause could be that the browser cache & cookies must have been cleared. I would suggest you to please speak to your client and ask them to ensure that they do not clear the browser cache.

Please note that user can save the input data in session that is stored in our server. This feature requires two forms and the main form should have the "Page Break" field. The data is saved only on the click of the next button. The following guide should help you:  http://www.jotform.com/features/save-and-continue/

    Thank you!
