Text field: Hyperlink in the Text field always opening in a new window

I have used the second option, but to the click in link, the form is open in new tab. But in fact should then updated the page current.

I see that the links placed in the Text field are opening in a new window. I am able to replicate the issue at my end with a new form. Let me forward the issue to our backend team to take a look. Once we have any update in this regard, you'll be posted here.

First things first, we are not allowing self targeted links for the security concerns.

Secondly, our UI was misleading from the beginning. Because no matter what you select as a target, our sanitization process turns it into a new window setting.

Our developers made the necessary changes on the UI by removing the target option.
