Sendit_InternsAsked on February 26, 2017 at 8:13 PM
Hi- We're in the middle of gathering responses on our form, and I'm getting more feedback than I'd like that people aren't getting the auto responses. It seems to be happening randomly, and every time I test it myself i don't have the issue; do you have any advice (besides check your spam folder) that I can give people?
Thanks
Emily

Hello Emily,
I did test your form by sending a test submission and I am not able to replicate the issue you are having. I did receive auto-responder email successfully. Please check the screenshot below:
If the issue persists, I would suggest you to please use your own email address with SMTP settings to send submission emails. You may like to take a look at the following guide on how to use your own SMTP setting: https://www.jotform.com/help/244-How-to-Setup-SMTP-for-a-Form
Thank you!

sbcglobal.net, bellsouth.net etc...does that help narrow a solution, or is
my only option the SMTP thing.
thanks

Some email service providers can be very strict when receiving emails, as might be the case with Yahoo. They may be blocking the emails from jotform due to suspected spam. You can try changing the Sender Email to noreply@formresponse.com and see if this resolves the issue.
However, I would still recommend setting up an SMTP for your form to reduce the chances of email service providers blocking the autoresponders.
Regards.
