    Hi all,

I was wondering if its possible to create a form that has a partial 2 column section

Please see this image for an example:

    partial 2column form? Image 1 Screenshot 20

The 2 part section is the BARCODE vs SYSTEM VISION area. It splits the form into 2 part, then it goes back to full width with the text areas on the bottom.

I hope i explained this correctly.

    Thanks,

You can use the "Shrink" option for fields that you want placed side by side:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/90-Form-Field-Positioning

In the new form builder, the shrink option is in the properties menu for each field under the advanced tab:

    Hey David,

    Thanks for your reply.

I tried this before posting and i was having an issue where it was not aligning things correctly, i had hidden fields to make sure they were lining up correctly.

It had one row having 3 columns when in the jotform app it was displaying only 2.

I gave up on this and started a new form so i can't recreate this issue without making a whole new form.

Any idea why this would be happening?

-PS a workaround i found to work for me, is have them in a "collapse" menu

You mentioned that in your form you had one row having 3 columns when in the jotform app it was displaying only 2.

Please provide the from URL and the screenshot of the columns you are referring to, so we can check that at our end.
