Do I need to publish my form?

I have created several forms and have not published them. I share the jot form link, individuals have completed the form.  Their submissions are saved and sent to my dropbox.

What is the purpose of publishing the form?  What does it do? Does it change anything?

    Thanks

You can just share the direct form link. When you save the form, the form is considered as published. It means that the form is now available for anyone to use.

I believe you are referring to the "Publish" section in the Form Builder. These are just options on how to embed the form on a webpage, share the form via email and many more.

Using the form's direct link is enough. Your users will be able to open your form using that link.

Hope that helps. If you need further assistance, please let us know. We'll be glad to help you.

    Thank you.
